Default I need advice/guidance!!!

Does anyone have any advice about removing IS 300 rotors? Have you done this model? I pulled the wheels and calipers only to find the rotors seemed to be attached to the bearing hubs with what looks like about 7mm Allen screws, but so rusty I'm not sure could be star bit. Never seen this before and man they look rusty. I'm soaking the now with WD, but boy I sure hope they don't strip out.

If ur looking at the rear rotors make sure ur e-brake is not engaged.Sometimes u can get a hammer w/ a small block of wood and tap the edges of the rotor start at 12o'clock then six o'clock 3 then 9 u get the point that should work caution dont slam the hammer do it a couple of times then u should be able to wiggle it out. Good luck!!

I'm sorry, it is the front rotors. And I am almost positive these screws have to come out, because, there are holes in the new rotor where they are replaced. Looking at these screws I am scared to go at them hard, cause if they strip..ahhh crap drilling retapping....not fun.

Thanks rvalero, thats a great link. After looking at the pics there, I guess those rivet/screw looking points on either side of all the lug studs are really nothing.

Yep, just poped them off. Man they were rusted on. The new rotors had me confused because the holes beside the lugs were a little larger in the new ones making it appear there was a reccessed screw in the old rusted rotor and I just didnt want to damage the hub.
Thanks again for the link.
