Ball Joints HELP!!!
hey guys i own a 1999 GS400 and the other day i was driving home from work and as i get off the highway BOOMMM!!! my balljoints pop and there goes my wheel at a 90 degree angle.
i got the balljoints fixed and then got a wheel alingment that i needed anyways.
now here is my problem:
my abs vsc and vsc off lights are on in my dash!!
my mechanic checked it out but he doesnt know which are the sensors that have to be replaced. i researched around but couldnt find a straight up answer on which piece is it that has to be replaced
CAN ANYBODY HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

Well you have one in the front right and one front left. Could be one, or both
If you have a multimeter at home, measure the resistance of the speed sensor. The connector is located behind the fender liner. Just pull the plug out and read the resistance. It should be 1.4k-1.8k Ohms. If not, then it's broken. If it falls within the range, then the sensor is good so go try it on the other side.

i have 92k miles on the car and i did have alot of symptoms before they went out. i was actually on my way to move the car into the parking lot across the street from my mechanic so he could fix it the next morning when my ball joints popped.
some of the symptoms i had where hearing strange popping noises coming from the front . like if something was popping out of place. you can also check them out by putting your car up on a lift and lifting ur tires up and if theres alot of movement then you know something is wrong and you need to change them ( i was told this by mechanic so do not hold me to this)
