Autozone Rotors?
I wanted to swap out my rotors being that they are warped and I can't take it anymore. I was going to get the brembo blanks, however didn't want to wait for shipping. I read on other forums that the autozone rotors and good for DD and a lot of people use the for auto x. I found it was most popular amongst the integra crowd and many use them with no warping or problems. I thought I would give them a shot considering that they seem to have worked for other cars with good reviews and the fact that I didn't have to wait for them to arrive.
I tried searching on this board and couldn't find much info on the autozone Duralast rotors. I only see members mentioning that they bought them, but nothing as far as feedback. I was just curious from those who have experience with them and how they held up.
Thanks

Great timing. I have two friends with Duralast rotors. I just helped my friend install it on his 93 accord. Too early to tell because the pads/rotors are not broken in yet.
My other friend has it on his 2000 Integra and took it to the tracks many times. But he did complain a day or two ago that the rotors needs to be resurfaced because he's getting vibration now. That's great considering how he drive his car hard. I think you get lifetime warranty with them too.

They actually come with a year warranty, I just checked the reciept. It also seems a lot of people on the LS1 forum praising them as well. I was kinda skeptical at first, but it seems as though they should work just fine for DD. I'm not tracking the car anyway.

Funny how times changed, I remember back in the day (90's), I had a 95' maxima with warped rotors and they was like $300.00 a piece, now you can get at 1/10th that price today or upgraded to really nice aftermarket ones for 1/5th the price. I recently got some pads for the SC from Pep Boys with lifetime warranty!!! So far so good. Complete brake job at local auto shop was $200.00. A young lady at the job got taken by her local dealer for $850.00 to do the fronts on her 05 Nissan Altima (OUCH!). We schooled her on auto repair economics. Yea you should be good.

They cost $36 a piece and I believe you could bring them back if they warp. From what I hear autozone are pretty good and accepting the warranty, but not a 100% sure. You should ask those who have worked there.

I went to their site and with my zipcode, they show $29.99 for the front and $22.99 for the rear. Free shipping over $75, so maybe if you put in a different zipcode, you can get them cheaper.
I might give them a shot for that price.
