Default replaced front brake pads

I just changed the front pads on my gs400. I am a little concerned b/c it was easier than my chevy trucks. I want to make sure I did not screw something up.
1. Removed 10mm bolt from top of caliper
2. removed pads
3. replaced
4. opened master cylinder cap
5. pushed in calipers
6. put 10mm screw back on
7. drove it....
I did not bleed the brakes- It wasnt necessary to open bleeder valve.
one of my shims was pretty messed up and did not replace it- it was on the back pad(still front brake, just the back pad.
**the 10mm bolt on the passenger side did not tighten up as much as the drivers side- the other not just spins once it was to a certain point...
should i go back and recheck/redo anything
The car drove good. No pulling, pedal seemed to be okay.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

It is pretty easy, do make sure you go back and tighten that other ten mil bolt. I would do it first thing tomorrow.
