VERY uneven brake pad wear!!!
i just changed all of my brake pads last week and discovered that my rear driver side brake pads are wearing very unevenly. the inner pad was practically new while the outer pad was down to about an three-eighths of an inch. all the other pads were about the same.
what could be causing this?? i know my rear caliper pin was bent slightly when my friend changed my pads for me last time. i never bought a new one and he just bent it back as straight as possible. but could a bent caliper pin do this? might i need a new caliper because its not floating right...??? or whatever the terminology is? and if that's the case how do i test it to see if it's floating or not??
any help would be greatly appreciated.

replace teh pin(s) first...
double check when you are retracting the piston whether that one piston (with the very thick pad) requires any extra effort to retract it or not...
remember that when retracting brake caliper pistons, to have the bleeder open, with a hose and bottle attached so you don't push brake fluid back into the reservoir...
