Question Brake Pad Changing Procedure

I will be changing the brake pads for a 93 SC 400 soon and was wondering if there is a pre-written procedure out there I can go by. I searched the archives already, but can't find a thorough write-up.

Thanks!

I haven't done my fronts yet but the rears are just about as easy as a brake job can get. Just pull out the top bolt and pivot the caliper on the bottom one. If you've ever done brakes before you'll know what I mean and have no problem whatsoever.

Default changing brake pads

He's exactly right. Changing the pads on a Lexus couldn't be easier. You really won't need instructions. Yank the wheel off (jack stands, of course!), pull out the two retaining pins, slip out the old, and slip in the new (you'll have to spread the calipers slightly for the wider new pads... one of those handy little caliper spreading tools from Pep boys is great, otherwise, just carefully use a blunt pry bar to slowly open them up). If you've ever replaced the pads on a BMW, you'll be grateful you have a Lexus!
