Welcome to CL! Yes...the SEARCH function definitely leads you to a wealth of information. Your parts can be fulfilled by an order through Carson Toyota/Lexus Parts. They are one of the forum sponsors for CL...the GS forum to be specific. Look for them here in CL.

Good Luck!

welcome to CL bro! You found the right place to get great information.

As far as springs there are so many out there you can get with an IS3. As the people said about try using the search and you will find so much information!

Also try is300.net and seloc.net both great sites and people are very willing to help. But just a warning some of the people on .net can be a lil *argh* hehe...

goodluck with the modding!

Welcome to CL! A great place to gather information on your IS300. I would also view the gallery and see what some cars are currently looking like with mods that you might be interested in. Use the search engine and view some of the threads in the forum and you will start picking up on some of the IS mods.

Good luck and post pictures as you Mod.

Hey,
Thanks for the great welcoming and advice. I have a few more questions that i have to ask. I did the search engine thing that was suggested and got some great info but it didnt really help me because i know that i want lowering springs but i want to know what is good quality and what will help my stock shocks stay intact more....Heres what i want ----lower car about 1.5 inches
good quality
spend less that 350(including istallation)

I also want to get a front lip on my car... and i would like black emblems instead of silver emblems....if their are any comments or suggestions regarding these please speak out... Thanks

honestly, in order to do it right, unless you plan on installing them yourself, i don't think $350 is realistic, UNLESS you get some good quality used springs for cheap. don't forget, once you lower your car, you should get it aligned as well, so your tires don't wear unevenly. (another expensive maintenance item for this car! but i still LOVE my car!) you'd be shocked at how much installing springs cost in this car. it's b/c our springs need to be compressed correctly, so that's the time-consuming part...also, depending on how many miles you have on your stock shocks, you might want to consider some performance shocks. those can easily run you a few hundred, depending on which ones you pick. if you're going to do it, you might as well do it right, since installation is expensive (unless you've got a friend who can do it for you, etc.) i know ppl who have paid easily over $200 for installation and alignment...

in terms of the front lip, it all depends on what you're looking for, and what your budget is...don't forget to include painting costs & install (if you don't want to do it yourself)....

I paid $150 for my Tein S-Techs and $80 to have them installed and thats cheap as hell the $80 was a friend that owns a shop that normally does work for me for free but thats how big of a pain it was to do.

If you want cheap S-Techs check out revhighonline.com or carson toyota they both have em for around $150-$170

Also check out is300.net and use the search function (cause if you dont they will treat you like crap) If the site is actually working

Welcome Welcome.

I currently am riding on Tein SS dampers with about a 2' drop and absolutely love it. The coils are dampening adjustable too. Check my sig for a pic. I also have a HKS Hiper and I DO NOT rub at all.

Like others, I would suggest Carson Toyota. GREAT customer service from these guys, plus GREAT prices.

If you don't mind, what was the $ on the Tein SS and HKS Hiper from Carson Toyota?

if you want a drop where you can use the factory stock shocks go with Tananbe NF springs. just installed it on mine and it rides like stock with a lowered look. 1.5" front and 1.0" rear. the spring rate was raised no more than 10% so its a perfect fit with the factory shocks. also, i haven't had any problems with scraping.
