Glad you finally got your lights in. You will need to post pics. I took mine off and had to replace both of those black pieces since I had cut into them. Found some super bright LED's for the OEM DRL's, back to basics.

 

Thanks for ur sharing. I followed ur post and did make the lights on.

The problem I have got now is the light is on when the car with no power. When I turn on the car, the LED light goes off.

It is just the opposite for what I expect

Any clue to fix this problem?

My car is 2010 RX450H Limited

 

Thanks for the write up MEP, this will be one of my to do's when warmer weather comes around next year.

 

Gonna revive this thread with a couple photos of new drl's added to the RX today.

 

great job, now it's time to change headlights and fogs to LED's to match the color.

 

Don't want to discourage you, they last 1 year in average. I am trough many sets already. Recently I removed expensive light bars which sucked 16 W each from wife's rx350. They became yellowish and only 3 out of 18 diodes were working. I changed controller after controller , because they had to be 5A or more current wise and Chinese exaggerate the max. current, as usual.
I riveted aluminum plate on the same spot as you, and attached brackets to it , just to understand, that they corrode faster; that's all about aftermarket .
