Default Remote want unlock door

After timing belt service my fob will not unlock doors. If I hold button the windows do lower. Is there some type of key leading needed after battery disconnect?
thanks
Brian

The answer is no. The fact that you could low the window means there is some kind of communication have been made. Try to hold the fob close to the door, and avoid the sun ray or heat. SC keys sometimes do not work in heat.

Most likely a quick reprogramming of your remotes will solve the problem. Keep in mind there is the programming of your key to start your car (not what you want) and the programming of the remotes to Unlock your doors (What you want)

Take a look at this post and follow the appropriate directions

Sounds like the fob is communicating fine.
my question, was the car sitting in the heat(sun), if so, you may need door lock actuator(s).
what is the
year and mileage?
