Default Doors won't open

Guys,

Haven't drive my 600 in a while. Decided to take it out for a drive, but I can't get the doors to open. I tried using the button on the door handle, and the remote fob. Tried my other remote fob just in case, just to make sure it wasn't a fob issue

Little red light on door is flashing. Not sure what to do from here

How do I get my doors open?

Well, the button on the door is just to lock it. The touch unlock quits working after the car sits for a couple of weeks. Not sure why the UNLOCK button on the electronic key will not open the doors, unless the car's battery is discharged. You should be able to open the doors using the mechanical key that is tucked into the electronic key - it fits into a slot on the door handles.

You should be able to open the door using the mechanical key like jmcraney said. Attaching is how...from manual....page 656 only. Sorry I meant to just show one page, but this show the whole file

Wink

Your battery may need replacing in your remote key fob. We tend to forget about the mechanical key that's hidden in the remote key fob. Good information jmcraney.

Thank you gentlemen. I had the key pulled out of fob, just couldn't work out where to find the key slot in handle. Got it out, charged car battery and back in business. Thanks again!

okay glad you were able to get in but the next time take out the mechanical key and pop of the end cap by sticking in the mechanical key and use gentle pressure and it will pop off and boom there go the key slot...
