My key remote will not unlock or lock the doors every time. results are intermittent. Sometimes the same door will activate; at other times it will not. If the battery in the remote were weak(mine has never been replaced in 13 plus years), could this be the cause; or, if the battery is weak, would all doors react the same?

 

I would guess failing lock actuators.

 

Hi, most common problem is the old battery! It definitely needs to be replaced. Do it first! Does it apply to all doors, or just one in particular?

 

Inconsistent. A door will work, then the next time it won't. Not all doors. Never know what will unlock from time to time.

Do the doors lock and unlock in the same intermittent fashion via the switch on the door and the remote? If so, actuators.
