Hi everyone, I hope someone can point me in the rite direction. I want to use my iPhone with my Levinson stereo. Unfortunately with no AUX input i can't do it. I dont want to change the system but want an adapter to link my phone audio. I only want it for music. Does anyone know of a way to do this?
Thanks

there are few ways you can do:
1. Buy a Monster cassette adapter. This is the easiest way without interference. Some says the audio quality is not the best, but to me, sound quality is superb.
2. Buy a CD cassette adapter. Same as the cassette adapter, except it use FM transmission and not too reliable .
3. Buy a FM modular. Many of us are using this method. Expect interference.
I have been using Monster cassette adapter for many years and very happy with it. Your choice.
Thanks, I already tried a cassette adapter but I wasn't happy with the sound quality. It was a bluetooth adapter not corded. Maybe I can try a corded but I was looking for something which is hard wired. BTW nice car picture.

There’s thread covered the AUX input added and hardwired to the ML if you don’t mind to disassemble the radio. Search for it under the OP Retroplay.
I have been using the ROAV Smart Car Charger F2 for several years. I have installed one in my 2006 SC 430, my sons 2005 SC430 and our grand daughter's 2007 Ford 500 that we bought her for college when she moved from HI after HS. I plug it into the power port in the counsel dial in the blank FM station and pair my iphone 12 to it. I have 31GB of music on the iphone. When I start the SC I hear "waiting to pair" Then I hear successfully paired. I hit the itunes app and up comes the lists of artist I select one and hit play and off I go.
I just went out and bought a corded cassette, the sound is just as bad as with a bluetooth cassette. I will try cleaning the head but I'm not hopeful. The CD sounds fine but I got rid of my CD's 15 years ago and only have one left. I did find a Canada company GTA which may sell an interface. Has anyone ever used them?

SC430mods.com Bluetooth adaptor is a great inexpensive way to pair your iPhone to your ML for both music and calls. I’ve had mine for over six months now and am really pleased with it.
FM Bluetooth adapters aside, after reviewing both the wired adapter's websites and CL user comments, it seems like the SC430mods $80 unit, for almost half the price, is preferable to the Grom $156 unit. Anyone beg to differ? Any other products worth considering?
Who gets rid of their cds? No way! I have all my original vinyl too and I am not just talking about my pants.
I wonder how many of you out there are as averse to all this new stuff as I am. I refuse to carry a phone with me. The office will hear from me when they do. Anyone else needs to get a hold of me - you can wait! Stuff all those interruptions.

CDs are fine but they will jam in the player sooner or later. When that happens just give it a good smack.
I have hundreds of vinyl EP's, hundreds of self-recorded, audiophile-quality cassettes, and hundreds of CD's, but with the convenience of Apple Music, I find myself listening to streaming most of the time. I was thrilled, however, to get the last model car to come with a cassette player! Otherwise, I couldn't play my cassettes as all my other players have bitten the dust. The mechanisms that drive the cassette tapes have a relatively short lifespan, but I'm hoping the ML system is better than most, and gives me many more years of use!
