Bluetooth audio interface
Gman, I have never seen a CD jammed before.
Im glad to hear people are still holding onto their vinyl. I saw a technics turntable for sale from the past still in box yesterday for 2800 dollars!
And Wilson, I have been transferring my own made music from cassettes into mp3 after re-engineering the quality on my laptop. But I only play it on my laptop.
I wont give those big outfits my indulgence no matter how convenient.

DId you notice any volume drop in radio and CD play? I installed it, Bluetooth function works fine, but just the radio and CD volume was cut in half compared to prior installation.
To be honest I haven’t listened to a car radio for a long time as the chit chat and adverts get on my nerves between songs. Streaming from my phone I also get to listen to what I want to listen to and I never now play CD’s. So the answer to your question is I don’t know. I only use the car occasionally so next time I go out in it in the next few days I will check to see if mine the same.
I tried the BT adapter route that uses an open FM station on existing radio and was dissatisfied with erratic/inconsistent quality of sound.
So, my latest approach is to use cassette BT adaptor. Will report results next week. This is what I ordered (seemed to have some good reviews):
Anyone using above? My logic/assumption is that a cassette approach will not have FM reception issues. Perhaps other?

One last thought could you stream you favourite radio station directly from your phone?
I have been out in the SC today and mine is the same as yours in that the CD and radio volume is well down on streaming via Bluetooth by my iphone when the iPhone is on full volume. Turning the volume down to about a third on the iPhone seems to be about the same level you get from CD or FM radio. I have to say streaming from the iPhone sounds wonderful to me whereas CD and FM radio now sounds thin an very lack lustre. So if you listen to a lot of radio or CD’s this could be an issue. As I am not one of those it is not for me if fact I enjoy driving on a sunny day with the top down with no music on at all. I am getting my resonators deleted in 3 weeks time so if that goes OK that will be the new music to my ears.

Hi everyone, I hope someone can point me in the rite direction. I want to use my iPhone with my Levinson stereo. Unfortunately with no AUX input i can't do it. I dont want to change the system but want an adapter to link my phone audio. I only want it for music. Does anyone know of a way to do this?
Thanks
Thanks
I just installed the sc430 mods bt adapter with phone calls. It was a b to take everything apart, I couldn't get to the wires without pulling the climate and radio, and I was scared of breaking the climate control and I can feel the faceplate detaching but not the unit. After lot of cuts on my hands trying to get the harness out behind the radio I gave up and eventually was able to wiggle the climate control out and pull out the radio a bit. But this made a huge improvement in sound quality. I was using a bt to FM adapter before, and now with the new sc430 mods adapter, everything sounds richer and more full. Bass mids and highs are much louder and crisper. Definitely worth the money. Everything is stock except for kicker 6x9 and Skar 8" sub. Everything running off the OEM ML amp.
