It's probably just a clear coat. I doubt it would come out well without a lot of prep work.

If you sanded down a plastic headlight lens with fine-grit sandpaper, and sprayed it with any clear coat, it would bring back the lens to being somewhat clear. I doubt this product works better than any can of clear coat.

The beauty of the headlight lens kits is they provide varying degrees of sand paper so you can remove varying degrees of damaged to the outer layer of plastic. Then, you use polishing agents to remove the fine, invisible scratching left behind from the sanding. The final step is clear coating the lens.

Many feel the work involved in doing this properly isn't worth the trouble and prefer to replace the headlights or headlight lenses.

My headlights are crystal clear so this product won’t do any good.
