I contacted naviks, I'm going to have the shop call them to troubleshoot on Friday. I'll let you all know if we come up with anything.

 

I have a solution!

I had Naviks support talk to my installer and Michael @ Naviks had us cut the "video return wire" shown below and hook everything back up. Now there's no ghosting!

Apparently the reason that wire is sticking out from the harness like that is for this very issue. "Some cars" have this problem, ours being one of them.
