Can the windows and the top be put down by using the key in the lock or by the remote. Can it also be put back up through the key in lock or remote. Thank You for your responses

 

No can do with the remote/key from the factory, but someone around here has made it worked using an aftermarket system. Search for remote top

I'm not sure about the key in the lock thing for the windows, that might be possible, but you can't lower the top with the key in the door lock. Hope that helps

 

you can also open the windows with the key.

is there a 3rd party gizmo out there that will allow the top to open with one touch like the windows?

Remote Roof - $500
Remote Start - $200

Is this unit "homemade" or is there a manufacturer?

 

Do you need to have the engine on before you can use the remote top? That would require you to get both the remote start and remote top.

 

I would be interested in this piece however without knowing who the manufacturer is I wouldnt buy it. If anyone finds out please let me know.

Who does that rear window conversion? Can I get his details? I also wish to have the headlights come on when I open the doors with the remote to light me the way to the car over puddles. do they do that too? Do you perhaps know if a small supercharger is available? I´d like more horsepower. Any news on conversion for using the satnav to play movie DVDs?
