Creative Option for Ashtray?
I am new to the forum and have not seen this discussed. I have a 2006 SC 430 with the original ashtray and lighter. The lighter is being replaced with a low profile USB charger, and I am wondering if anyone has a creative use for the ashtray slot. I would love to be able to change the whole thing into a Bluetooth upgrade with multiple charging slots. Any great ideas?
Thanks!
Frank

Welcome to the forum Frank.
There have been a couple of threads about it in the past but really not very much over all. I keep my sunglasses in there but you can't do that unless your sunglasses are fairly flat. If they are curved, they won't fit. There have been a handle full of folks who have put control modules in there (for BT or satellite or other interfaces) but that is all that I'm currently remembering. If you have a 3D printer, you can get quite creative since there is some room to play behind the ash tray though, just not a bunch.
