I am awaiting delivery of my 2006 pebble beach edition SC430.
i would like to listen to music via blue tooth. (from iphone) I know this has been discussed in other threads... but i'm not sure what my 2006 needs or has.
The 2006 does have BT pairing for a phone, but not for streaming music. BTW, the ability to import contacts, input contacts or edit contacts is useless. About the best you can expect is handsfree answering the phone.

Not true. I imported the phone book fine. For the SC 06+ owner with Navigation and Samsung phone, here is what to do:
1. Park car outdoor. Call some number to establish the connection.
2. Hit setting on the SC. Scroll down, hit transfer phone book. Wait for the message "send phone book".
3. On the Samsung, hit contact.
4. Hit EDIT (left button on the bottom).
5. Select Share name card via
6. Hit .select all
7. Hit Done and wait for the transfer screen on the SC. When the screen comes back to the phone book page, you are done.
8. Check the phone book.

You can get the Bluetooth Cassette Adapter from Amazon or Ebay for about 20 bucks, then pair your phone. Worked fine for me.

I'm glad that worked for you. I tried with an old Samsung phone, but now use an Apple. No luck for me. Any secrets how to manually add a contact or manually edit a contact in the list?
I added the VAIS Tech SL3B BT to have the ability to stream music using BT. Works great, but a little expensive. You have to pull your radio to unplug a harness and plug in their adapter harness. It's all plug n play so no cutting wires. There are several installation threads if you do a search. I find it's worth the money. The audio quality is great.
