Wow. I have officially become an "old guy". I remember when all cars were RWD and we drove in the rain and snow and everything without ever worrying that we were going to end up *** over tea kettle (that's a phrase my father used to use & since I'm channeling him I figure I'll go the whole nine yards LOL). I also remember the fretting over front wheel drive when it came out and how it changed the steering & handling characteristics we were all used to. Now if it's not AWD and the weather turns bad it's time we stayed home huddling under the stairs until the sun comes out.

If this keeps up I'll be giving the "eat your green beans" speech to my kids and maybe the "I had to walk 3 miles to school everyday uphill both ways" one too

Jim, that was hilarious my friend!!! And so true!
I can remember driving my 1982 RWD Olds Delta88 in Omaha with plenty of snow and ice!
BTW, I like your Father! ;-)

So sorry to hear about your accident. The rain Saturday night was devastating. I am glad you are okay and you do okay with your insurance company. What kind of car are you considering??
