Finally got it done. Power switch is blue, the ACS switch is amber and the gear indicators are lit with a bright white LED. Somehow the radio door button LED is out now - I removed the wiring from the small white socket and may have bent a pin or something. I'll look at it again when I can.

 

Just done the shifter mod.
Thanks to all the contributors who helped on this.
The new bulbs came in pairs so I changed the cigar lighter/ashtray light and the radio door switch light with the spares.

RollaBoy, any luck with changing the lights in the Seat Belt Buckle Receiver?

Harold, My 2002 doesn't have lights in the fuel door release or trunk release panel. Would be awesome if it did! Maybe someone with a later model SC can tell us if their's light up?

As I am in the UK, I found sellers of the same bulbs over here.
There is also a detailed DIY that Darthsid did further back in this thread. I followed his instructions and it is very straight forward if you follow him.
