I forgot if the down hill assist switch mounted on the center console next to the shifter is it illuminated I know it lights up green on the dash instrument cluster when switched on but does the switch it self illuminate and if so how do I get to the bulb.
It does light up. You can use a plastic trim tool to pop the switch out. The connector & wires behind it are somewhat short so reconnection might be a challenge after the bulb swap.
You want bulb 84988J and you just use a small flat-head screwdriver to unscrew it from the side of the switch body.
