So today i was tinkerin around in my car replacing various blown bulbs and noticed that the ECT/normal switch isn't backlit. I don't ever remeber it being backlit. So do 1st gen ls400 have a backlit ect switch? I tried to look for a little bulb or holder and came up negtive. Does anyone's switch light up?

 

Yes it lights up...I just replaced mine last week. I've got the part number somewhere if you need it. You will need to keep the green cover that is over your current bulb....

 

i replaced it. It took me a while to figure out how it pops out. Thankfully i bought extra bulbs from radioshack!

How about the memory seats... those aren't backlit are they?

 

I'm actually looking for the little bulb the goes in the seat heater switch. I assume it will be the same.

Can you send the part #? How does this switch pop out?

sorry to hijack, does the shift lock override button have a backlight too?
