Hi, I'm a proud owner of a 2004 SC430.. Love the car!

But at night, I think both headlights are not as "high" as they need to be... I can barely
see 10 feet in front of me. The buyers guide here said its an easy DYI fix. Lexus in Raleigh
says about $150. Anyone have instructions on this?

The adjustment procedure for my 2007 and 2008 SC430 is in the manual under the "do it yourself" section.

My headlights are different than yours so you should check your manual. If you don't have one you can view it online at drivers.lexus.com by registering your vin number.

Lexus will also send you copies for free if you call them. There also may be a link on the web site it listed above where you can order a free set.

Do your headlights move when you start the car? just to make sure the self levelling is working

mine seem to be a little too high lol I need to lower them

Thanks for answering! Yes, my headlights move up and down fine -- though ONE time it did kick off a leveling sensor light...long time ago.

I checked my manual and I didnt see anything under the DYI section for headlight leveling.

Anyone have the procedures? I'm not a handy person so I hope its easy.
