Don't ask how it happened, but I have no rear bumper anymore. Its completely gone, including the license plate and the wiring for the license plate light.
I've already got a new bumper en route for tomorrow, but I need to get everything to redo the license plate wiring and lens covers, etc. I also need to get the side marker covers, the wiring for that is still there. Can someone give me a hand and either tell me where and what to order, or point me in the direction of an affordable spot in DFW. I'm also open to meeting up local to do install and drinks/lunch is on me!
It may not be what you have in mind but Sewell Lexus has great prices for Club Lexus members and they're right in your back yard. Sign up and log in to see their best prices along with parts lists. But looking at your post count you must know this already.
one of the best spots is Sewell and Sewell's online store... not which year you have but here the link and schematic for the 02 rear bumber from sewell's online site...http://lexus.sewellparts.com/oem-cat...C430-2002.html

THanks for those schematics, that makes it easier to figure out what I need. What I don't see is the electrical housing and wire connections to get the license plate lights to light up. Am I missing it somewhere?
I am just going to get a body shop to do it. Recommendations?
There are several around that are good or decent. Trade Secret in Plano almost exclusively works on high end cars. Park Place and Sewell have body shops, so you know they will know what to do with a Lexus. There is a place in Lucas (east of Allen) called The Paint Place that does good work also.
I'm sure there are a bunch more, maybe Derek knows of some good ones.
