I was about to make a new thread, but ran into this one, do you know how to replace the bulb for the front side marker?
I could use some detailed instructions or pictures as I've never done this before. Sadly my front right one went out. I have the bulbs.
2004 SC430.
Thanks.

Just finished upgrading my 02 tails to the 06 LEDs Taillights. During the process I noticed when you remove the carpeted floor garish pieces from the behind and below the taillight inside the trunk there is easy access to the side marker lights on each side. You will have compress the retainer claws to release the lamp but then the whole assembly pops out of the wrap around bumper cover.
Hope this helps.

The entire 06 taillight kit is for sale at Sewell Parts Online at this link: http://www.sewellpartsonline.com/par...l.asp?id=89401
This kit contains the following items:
1 LH Taillight assemby
1 RH Taillight assmeby
1 LH Upper Garnish
1 RH Upper Garnish
2 Taillight Wire Harnesses
2 7440A (A=Amber in color) Incandescent bulbs for the turn signals
1 Luggage Compartment ECU
The ECU is one of the more expensive components and necessary if you don't want to see a brake lamp out icon on the dashboard indicator. If you don't care about it then you can skip that part.
I have to say I was disappointed to see an incandescent bulb for the turn signals and have ordered the corresponding LED equivalents. However the LED tail and brake lamp combo does a very nice job of refreshing and updating the look of the car.

I pulled out the pieces you are referring to as my rear side markers are out. What I see is what looks like a white plastic thing with louvers (to vent heat from the bulb I'm guessing). How do I remove this thing to get to the bulb?

I saw in another thread that someone had an issue with replacing the bulb by going through the trunk (the method VVtiBob suggests).
Has anyone successfully removed the rear side market bulb by going through the trunk as opposed to having to remove the rear bumper? Either way, it seems like a ton a work for a seemingly minor bulb replacement.
