It hurts me to see what great lengths people would go through to customize their SCs; Slashing their backseats and cutting through their wooded stereo masks. Just horrible I tell you. What do you think?

 

I think the white sc for sale is the wide body twin turbo thats been written up in the mags. I wonder why he is selling it.

The other car with the huge speakers is hideous. Whats the point?

I think they also modifies the mechanism of the rear trunk lid, I don't remember the trunk lid of my sc goes up like that.

 

Give them credit for trying but the result is not too my taste. I'll pass. Those big speakers just mess up the acoustic big time.

 

yes the white sc430 is the tt setup. honestly i have never really liked that car. having tons of power and widebody don't mean it's sick for sure. i don't really like the front lip and the interior setup is only so so for me as well. and the way they "changed the trunk lid, i don't know what i should think

the other sc430 with those silly subs in the back seat area? what can i say.... attempts don't really get you points sometimes. only think i can think of is by the time the volume hits about 20 to 25, both driver and passenger are deaf for life

 

As bad as anything else out there, no better, no worse. I do respect their money tho ...

 

LOL, I would hate to be that passenger with a JL12W7 1800Watt subwoofer 3 inches away from my ear.

 

I do like the idea of a 2-tone ecru-black interior for a white SC though, but it would be better to actually change the leather instead of putting something on top, & I think it would work well only for a white or black exterior . . .

 

I like them both - i think they push the envelope for the ridiculous but- that was the point. the subs sticking up out of the back seat were cool but I would have removed the head rests and placed them lower into the rear seat area if they would have fit.

if i had hair - it definitely would shake in that sc with the subs.

Only items I like are the leather colored matched Recaro front seats (not that the oem seats are bad) & the vented hood.

 

i like the white tt car... but that trunk way up there has got to go !!

 

The backseat "full-o-subs" thing is just not my bag....baby! Nothing personal against those that like it.

 

Geez Henry, tell us how you really feel!
Most of us here believe the Lexus deserves what we call tasteful mods because it is a classy car. I happen to think any and every car should be tastefully modded and I have never liked the overdone stereos, lambo doors...whatever. With that said, if I saw these cars at a show, I'd gawk real hard at them.

 

sorry if i am harsh, but i am just being objective here. for sure this is totally personal preference, and as long as the owners like them that's what matter most. i guess my way of modding these cars is just subtle and classy

 

I will take those Recaros.
