Hi All...Can anyone tell me what controls the radio door (it is mechanical or an electronic switch) as mine in an '02 suddenly decided to stop working...Although perhaps this is related to me disassembling the console to run the power connector wire for a Sirius receiver (I hid the cable under the console area).

i say it's electrical. you press the botton below the radio door (right between that door and the ash tray, and it will open and close. i don't see mechanically that could work?
