Default 999

I also ordered the new Ducatti 07 Desomocidi , you have to have a 999R to be on the list for this limited production (400) units.

It has 240 hp . 366 lbs and is a true GP bike

1000 cc 16 valve- V4 dual overhead cams

Price was 65 k , plus shipping

The 999R Xerox was 33K, made a deal for 31K out the door no tax ( Oregon )

I have two 06 Ktm's 200 & 300 XC-W's, 2 Strokes street plated
Two 2006 Husaberg's fe650 for the desert, and a new FS650E Supermotard for JFA

Did I mention two nice kid's and two beautiful ex-wife's !

Monday I'm picking up my Xerox 987R Ducatti Edition, and I will be making copies of pictures of Big Sur, the fun parts of the PCH, and mountains near Aspen.

I'd rather be outside.

I'm a motorcycle guy too (only have 2 though), but not a Ducati fan. Rode a 999R in some awesome twisty road in Albuquerque, NM, and even though I'm in the best shape of my life (44 years young, thin, no belly), and never broken a bone or had back or knee problems, I had enough with 30 miles. It was the most radical bike I've ridden by far. I was tackling the twisties at insane speeds, with the confidence of an old 'friend', but my butt, wrists and knees couldn't take it any more. That it was hot (95º) didn't help, but if you're going to ride that thing (stock) for any length of time, pack a bottle of ibuprofen, and buy chiropractor sessions by the dozen. And still, you'd be a very brave man. I live too far away from any twisty road to even think about a sport bike, but a sport-tourer keeps me safer . Good luck at Laguna; should be a great race. Later.
