Well, not new, but new to the wife. Its an 08 with 28K miles. Bought it as a CPO. She drove an 06 Miata for the past 5 years - and simply loved it! But lately she's been taking 100 mile excursions to Birmingham and no longer felt safe on the interstate. I had her drive most everything out there and we were mostly gravitating toward the ES, until she spotted the GS in the back corner of the lot. It was newly traded in and hadn't been cleaned up - so we took it for a spin and immediately fell in love. I figured she might miss the top down driving, but right now she's enamored with her new ride. And gee, I get to drive it - occassionally!
Pics were taken in the early morning, so the shadows are evident on the car. Other than that, its flawless...

nice pic up. like the color too. she won't be getting bored with it anytime soon,,, so you better be ready for a long wait if you want to drive it.

My ole lady drives one too and the daughter has a GS300. I drive a 22 year old 4runner but get to drive theirs to put gas in em and do maintenance on them!

Yup, she is really digging the smoother ride. The Miata could be quite rough, especially on torn up roads (which Bham is full of). She blew a tire a couple of months ago after hitting a pothole down there and of course, the Miata has no spare, other than a compressor and a tire sealant can - which was of no use as she blew out the sidewall. Had to tow the little car home. That was an expensive tow bill!Originally Posted by SLOW4DR
Congrats! I'm sure it rides a little smoother than the miata and just a hair bit more spacious
Yeah, she really likes the extra room too!

tell her to keep her eyes on the speedo. it's too smooth so u can easily do 100mph without realising it. only clue is why you r passing everyone. lol
