Door Replacement?
Ok heres the story, went out for a quick 5 minutes to go to get some food for my siblings, get back, park my car in the front the rest of the day in case i decide to go elsewhere.
NOTE: i live extremely close to construction and they are building a house about 3 houses down from us.
I usually inspect my car before i enter the house, found nothing, everything was completely fine. About close to midnight i decided to move my car into the garage before my parents go to sleep. Next morning, i wake up, my dad begins to go nuts, I'm thinking hes wondering why my car's tires are so dirty. He tells me to come downstairs and there it was, a massive dent/scratch, as if a rock had been spun out from a bypassers tires. The location where i live is fairly rural, no houses in front of us, just a big pond and miles of grass. Its a safe neighborhood, no obnoxious neighbors or anything. anyways, after getting chewed out by my dad i decided to go take pictures and ask if this is fixable. thanks in advance. 18th birthday coming up in July, maybe dad can cut me some slack. Inevitably this is my fault, and i admit, it wasnt a good idea in the first place to leave a car out in the front of the house all day.
so would this be something collision shops could fix?

sorry to hear what happened man
but it's nothing. a relatively good shop will have no problem filing it up and repaint the door, blend in the surrounding areas, and it's back to normal
no need to replace the dor for sure

Yeah..I agree with rominl. As usual, he's right on the money. This is nothing for a half decent body shop...they might not even paint the whole door...though it might be easier for them if they do. Then they'll blend in with the side panels and voila...good as new.
Good luck with the fix.
Good luck with the fix.
thanks for you input guys! and guess what i found sitting outside close to where my car was parked, a half broken hammer. my little brother was tellin me about some rowdy, possibly drunk teenagers around 10 last nite. Im thinkin they thought it would be funny to mess with someone elses property. Aside from being a teen myself, i gotta say......goddamn teens.
