Default Shifter Mod

So I ordered the bezel, and finally found the time to do the shift mod...works pretty well, just had to break the black plastic spring support and fit a washer under the tensioner.

Same here bro...

Did you have to cut into the metal shaft to attach the shifter ?
I thought they didn't make these shifters anymore.

Was gonna use a write up but just ended up winging it. It's really not that bad.

Um, I got the shifter off an auction site, just put in carbon fiber shift **** automatic. I ended up just breaking the black tensioner and replacing it with a washer...then took an angle grinder (over kill) haha and trimmed the bottom of the actual **** about an inch and a half rather than cut the metal bracket on the car.

I relocated the O/D button to the center cup holder.
I'll be putting it in the center armrest eventually.
I don't really use it much.

Nice mod man, you should've gotten the bezel w/ the Lexus logo on it. I love that little logo on the bezel.
