Hey Red Phoenix, I read your thread about the Gixxer_Drew suspension and wanted to know if you had to grind the sleeves down on the inside to get them to fit. Gixxer Drew states that the side that was cut should face down towards the shock. When I slide the sleeve over the shock, it hits the c clip and will not slide down. I started to grind on the inside of the sleeve to make the opening a bit bigger. I used a Metabo cutting saw at work which is basically a electrical hack saw, but now I'm wondering if it may have messed with the diameter of the sleeve. I'm just worried that I messing up the sleeve. Gixxer never mentioned anything about having to modify the sleeve other than cutting those 8 threads off. Sorry for being so long winded but your help is appreciated and needed.
    Thanks, Epix
