Ordered and received a set up track spec front upper control arms from figs engineering. Can't wait to slap these on and get more camber up front. Im thinking maybe -3.5 will be the sweet spot for the front. These ran me about $940 shipped if anyone wanted to know what it will cost lol

Really cool pieces! I'd love their whole front end set up one of these days...

The 3.92 conversion is done and on it's way back to me. This will go into the car and the 3.26 being pulled out will get a nice 1.5way OS Giken limited slip setup. I will give my input on how each behaves for track and street use just for kicks.

Very interested to hear how this turns out! Cool stuff as usual.

Very interested to see your impressions of dynamics and characteristics. While we have completely different setups, I've been considering a 1.5 way as a replacement to my factory Torsen.

Met up with some friends in Auburn to do some mountain biking and brought the sc out for a little bit of spirit driving/touge. Felt good to stretch her legs.

I agree. John, have you considered a high beam delete? A couple air intakes would be functional and very appropriate given the type of car you’ve built!

never thought of it but now that you've mentioned it, it would be ideal to bring in fresh air directly.

Dude… and you have a VVTi engine, forward facing throttle body! You’re set. Fashion up a box with an air cleaner in it and the two headlight openings ducted into the box, wammo! You’ve got yourself a true cold air/ram air intake setup.

Edit: Perhaps you can use something like this? https://volant.com/collections/camaro/products/open-element-air-intake-15958c

It’s from a F Body Camaro. You would need to fashion a lid of some kind and cut holes but the basic shape might be a good head start?

Nice, glad to see you on the forum. Where in Auburn is this? I have family in Foresthill.

I am thinking before doing this you may want to confirm you have an actual high pressure zone at the bright headlight location. I know it may seem obvious but it would need to be confirmed with some data I would think. I don't know much about aero but one thing I do know is just because it seems obvious it may not be.

That’s fair. But how is he supposed to test this? I don’t think he’s got a wind tunnel near by lol

There’s the front grille immediately next to, in between, both high beams. I realize it doesn’t serve a real function to cool anything, but I would have to think that with his vented hood, and the position of the headlights on the nose as they are, that it would work. Maybe I’m wrong. But, you see guys cutting out holes in a Supra’s headlight for an air intake, right? I don’t see how this could be any worse of an idea.
