A/C not getting cold with Full Freon
Well after getting my system installed, and after a week of cold weather. It turns 95+ degrees in sunny Los Angeles. Any my freaking AC stops working for the first time ever, it turns on everything works fine, it just does not get cold. I took the SC to my mechanic and he told me my freon was fine, and it was an electrical problem. He had the car for the entire day and could not find the problem, Anyone know what this may be? My mechanic belives its something that has to do with the temperature sensor. If anyone has any comments or has had a similar situation please help.... ITS SUMMER!!
thanks in advance....

same problem before
i had the same problem before, i had the system charged and everything. It is a electrical problem is exactly what they told me. My problem was a fuse in the black box under the hood. One of the big square looking ones. Try that first, before a mechanic get you for your money, saying its a electrical problem.

I have the same problem with my a/c. It blows air, kinda cool, but nothing like a/c should be. Now that i think of It i checked my fuse box two days ago and noticed there were two of the big fuses on the bottom right(if youre facing the windshield) just not there, i wonder why my previous owner decided two remove those. That would be nice if it only took a fuse to get me some cold a/c. Although it does worry me, I hope my previous owner didnt remove those for a reason to avoid a more serious problem. Can we only obtain these fuses from lexus?

i didn't pay anything for it, my friend took a similar small black box fuse in his shop and stuck it in there, and tossed out my old one. And now i have very cold A/C air blowing out

A/C
I have a 1993 SC 400...and my A/C started to blow just warm air....it turned out that my evaporator coil needed to be replaced and the control valve. In addition you need to change the drier. The cost to do the job will hurt ...the parts alone plus the feon will cost you about $600 if you buy them online. ( the evaporator coil had to be purchased through a Lexus dealership...$390.00!!! Good Luck
