Default Interior paint project.

I decided to follow 1JZPWRD's thread on interior removal to repaint my wood trim, but decided to start changing my interior over to black.

Interior tear-down was a slight pain going in blind. I picked up momentum until
I hit the trim, which turns out to have 10mm nuts on the backside instead of
wingnuts like pre 97 years. After a quick trip to the hardware store I managed
to get the interior back in with minimal effort. The wingnuts i bought for 87 cents a piece use an m6x1.0 thread and were all too much easier to get in that the
original bolts.

I used Valspar anti rust and corrosion protection in black with a cheap wheel coat from advance auto. The trim was done using Amaco rub 'n buff using the method in the link >www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wt70alyJsyQ posted by NME Props.

Never heard of that paint being used. I wonder how it hold up compared to SEM.

The paint is holding up fine, the wheel coat is a clear acrylic so the paint won't be damaged. Adds a nice glossy finish too.

im tired of trying to sell my SC to low ballers and people who don't appreciate it

im actually considering a total top to bottom restoration makeover as a hobby/project

is there any detailed threads on how to take apart the interior?

Im thinking of a suede /leather theme
