Auto shift knob, quick question

Default Auto shift ****, quick question
Well, I bought a brand new shift know on Ebay. Fits RX330 and 350 but alas, not my 2000 SC300The shaft is too small.

Any quick way around this little problem or am I screwed.

The **** LOOKS great.

Is it not the right thread pitch? There's adapters available. If its straight up too small then get another one

are there any other OEM auto shift ***** that fit our cars?

Ive upgraded my steering wheel I think the shifter would be a nice finishing touch.

The shaft is too small for the ****. I was hoping for a way to make it work as the **** looks awesome and it was a deal.

Have you tried a short piece of thin walled tubing?

I've had good luck with the black Poly tubing for drip irrigation. Home Depot or Lowe's or just about any hardware store should have a selection of tubing.

Just find a piece that will fit into the shift **** that is thin enough to fit over the shaft and screw together (that sounds kinda dirty...).

I have a 99 and are too looking to replace it. Im thinking its 8X1.25 shaft and pitch. Can anyone confirm this?
