what do you mean you took off the shifter? why would you do that to just unscrew the shift ****? is it stock ****?

try laying a cloth down and put some penetrating fluid like PB blaster or liquid wrench and remember lefty loosy

Its a ralco ss and i have a kazama auto shift ****.I took it out cause i didint want to put too much stress on anything in the transmission since the thing wont come off. Dont know if it would, but doesnt hurt to do it.

Since you have it out, put it on a bench vise. Maybe try freezing it?

My shift **** was difficult to break loose, but I eventually got it loose by using sharp jerking twists.
