Default Anyone Know What This Wire (s) Do?

Anyone know what the wire is for? Or could it be some custom work?

I do not want to connect these wires not know wtf they are for possibly and inadvertently turn my SC into a Lexus Charcoal. I bought the car with the wires like this, I didn't do it otherwise I would be my own personal dumbass asking you guys why I did do this for.

It's a single yellow wire, one going to each side marker light in my front bumper. But somehow it look like the driver side wire got pulled apart.

Aside from the yellow single wire, there's already two wires going to each side marker which I assume is to power the side markers. Leaving me to question wtf the yellow wire is for. BTW, in the second pic, the yellow wire has a nylon sleeve covering it.

So, before I repair the yellow wire, anyone know what it does?

The previous owner of my SC installed clear LED side markers, if they make a difference [besides appearance].

Also, if possible.... This one too. What does this wire do and/or why it would be cut.... This is the part of the wiring harness under the hood, on the passenger side, in front of the passenger strut mount. Why, what...

I really dont know, jusy throwing out the possibilities?????

Why don't you put a multi-meter on it and see if it has power...?

I figured if it didn't have power, it wouldn't be cut or required to be cut... Unless you want to cut power off to something.

That pink wire you can probably connect to the other end of the pink wire. The yellow looks like he used the power of the turn signal to switch on something else. Maybe HID's for fogs, or some stupid light thing or a radar detector or something that requires switched power!

Do those side markers in the bumper flash with the turn signals in the headlights from factory?

I would connect the pink wire... if I know what is it for and why would someone cut it.

To update, after probing around, the yellow wire is running between the turn signal and the bumper side markers. Maybe the previous owner made them blink when the turn signal is engaged.... but the one side that is connected never blink....??????....

I still don't know about the pink wire and thats factory!

I know when talking about speed cut people say cut the pink wire, but im not sure where they do that normally, but its probably safe to assume both ends of that wire should be connected normally. do you have a CEL, especially when you go over 60, that could be it.

No CEL. Speed cut, you mean like a rev limiter? If so, I hit the rev limit and it cuts power so i know it is still there.

no not the rev limiter, speed cut is your top speed limiter and stops you from accelerating past a certain mph.
normally its found on jdm swaps because their speed cut is only 110mph because of the km/h conversion, and people will cut it and/or put a switch on it to disable it.

I would think on a car with a stock 2jzge that one wouldn't be hitting the usdm speed limiter very often as its a bit higher I think, but since its cut in half and pink I figured it could be that so I would throw it out there, or someone thought it was the speed wire. I don't think its that cause its cut in the engine bay but its very odd.
