I really do not want a torsen as tey are way to pricey and I may as well just opt for one of these units, I s there any options I am leaving out?
I think Kaaz is the same as the TRD unit if I am not confusing my facts here?

for street use i would say get a 1.5 not a 2.0 lsd. I think the 2.0 would be a little too agressive; 2.0 is more meant for drifting or track use. besides that I couldn't really tell you which one to go with. I have heard some hearsay that the kaaz is the way to go. Good luck.
Welded/Spool means Full lock on both acceleration and deceleration.
A 2-way diff means it's locking (Mostly) both on acceleration and deceleration.
1.5-way means Most lock on acceleration and moderate locking on deceleration.
1-way Or Torsen type means it will lock on acceleration and open up on deceleration.
Sudden un-locking of the diff will make the car jerky in mid-slide situations, but allows you to turn into Taco Bell easy.
Constant Locking of the diff makes the car easy to control when sliding, but makes the tires chirp and wear when low speed cornering.
Get a 1.5 Clutch type!

Well, I'm a cheap bastard from all the DSM's I owned so I am hammer-fisting a MKIII LSD into mine but...
All options are good. No one can afford them, which is why you see a lot of "Bolt-in" Narrow G-code SC/Supra 8" diffs.
KAAZ, CUSCO, TRD They all rock.
Just find a clutch type and specify how much "Lock" 0-100 you want based on the type of driving.
70-90% lock is used in competitive drifting, and 30-65% is used for overall/circuit/grip type driving.
If I had the loot this is my pick: Cusco LSD 168 L15 - 1.5 way JZA80 Supra

Haha I have owned 12 awd DSM's and 5 evo's so I know this all to well.
No drifting for me just maybe a few track days per year and that's a big maybe but the one tire fire is not acceptable!
