First of all what exactly is LSD(i know it means limited slip differential)? I have been reading about people getting them for their sc and some getting them from supras. Where can I locate and purchase one from? About how much will it cost me for it and the installation? What kinda gains should I expect?

The LSD isn't a performance gain type item, its merely a different setup for the rear end, the gearing is one half of it, but it is meant for more traction(that traction can be used on the 1/4 mile on starts, but still cuts down time barely compared to no LSD.

It's nice if you want the extra traction and is a bolt on if you find the right LSD, I have one on its way, it is from a 95 NA Supra for my 93 SC400..

Read up on howthingswork, on torsen and LSD torsen.
