Default Wiring in gauges...?

Not finding what I'm looking for and I'm having a hard time finding the correct wires to wire my gauges to.

I am mounting my wideband and boost gauge to the dash. I have the wires from the gauges going into the climate control/radio area. What wires should I be or can I wire into?

So far I've only gotten my wideband put in and the diagram I pulled from the internet was no help. The gauge lights up, but it's on all the time.. Doesn't matter if the key is in or not.... I tapped into the blue/yellow wire from my radio... Then tried the gray one and the same thing happened.

Which wire can I tap into or what is the best route?

Shane

I would run a seperate relay from a ignition on only fuse in the driver side kick panel. Make sure to wire in a inline fuse of around 10 amps for the wideband. Ground it to a screw in there as well. This is what i did, and it works flawless. I do know the first fuse on top row closet to the firewall is a switched one. This is the one I used. GL

I think I'll go that route.. The theme for this car was "do it right".. I've got to pick up some of those fuse clips or whatever anyway.. makes hooking wires up to fuses sooooo much easier.

Shane.

PS. 1992Lexus, I FINALLY submitted feedback for you lol.

at the cig lighter the green/orange wire is the dimmer switch that turns on with the dash lights. use that for the lights. it only tuns on when you activate your headlights / running lights. GL.

I ended up getting 2 individual dash pods that you adhere with the little 3M sticky patches. Not exactly the best look for a sleeper but oh well.. I didn't really want to tear anything else apart to hide them.
