Hot wire a cigarette lighter socket?
It's quite simple. You just need to tap into a hot wire, i.e. a wire that always has power. Either tap into an existing wire or run one from the battery.
See this thread for more information. LS007 provided some great information. They recommended (and personally did themselves) tapping into pin 1, which happens to be the blue wire with a yellow strip, from the 20-pin plug going into the radio. They just used a t-tap wire to do so. They also put a fuse holder with a 7.5 amp fuse in the wire. They recommend wiring up some kind of a timer kit as well which may or may not be necessary depending on your needs.
I'm personally going to be doing this myself. I'm doing a big interior detail at the moment and am removing most of the interior so I am going to wire it up in the process. I'm personally going to wire up a switch that I can flip on and off, just in case I want to leave something plugged in but know the car won't be running for a few days. I'm just not sure where I'm going to place it.
EDIT: I just realized you were asking for an RX350. You are posting in the LS430 forum so my brain didn't even register that you said RX350 lol.
I'll leave what I wrote since you can still get some valuable information but you are going to want post in the RX section and for the correct generation. They'll be able to tell you which wire to tap into.
