Default Pwr ECT help!!!

I have a 92 SC400. When I flip the Pwr ECT switch it does not do anything at all. Ive read when on its supposed to change the gearing to a more aggressive setting but mine's isnt working. Anyone have an idea what could be the issue? Thanks

Go WOT, and you'll see the difference. With it off it doesn't go to redline, with it on it does.

Sometimes ECT has to relearn too.

Your not going to feel a night/day difference. Its not giving you more power, just changes how the car shifts.

Sounds like it's in need of a relearn then. You'll have to search on how to do it, I don't remember how to do it.

Do you get the green PWR light on the dash? If not your switch might be broken or disconnected.

i recently swapped ecus on my car, and it would always shift at 4k lol....not nice when u have a upgraded tranny with a shift kit lol....after driving it on the highway for about 2 weeks, and beating the **** out of it on the way to school. it now knows i want it to shift at 6000 haha...just let it learn...sounds wierd at first but it works...but why would u want to redline your sc400??? are you racing it??
