So I searched around the forums a little bit and didn't seem to find what people did to solve the door handle breaking all the time. I just replaced my passenger side door handle and now my drivers side one just broke. what did u guys do to man's this a non occurring issue? Or is there another door handle I can take off another Lexus that will last?

As far as i know, I have just been replacing them. They are cheap enough to find, and its an easy swap. I know thats not the answer your looking for, but i'm not aware of another solutions, if there is....hopefully someone else will chime in.

 

My passanger side broke a few weeks ago, was able to locate a pair. Have a spare driverside if and when it breaks? The dealer here was wanting $70 per side.

 

I used some 1gen ls400 chrome interior door handles with some modding with a dremal

 

i remember seeing something like that^ its a DIY actually.

isn't it metal too so no more breaking?

 

I believe that's the 2GS handles?
