funny problem (car dies after doing donuts)
car literally dies after one good donut.. any clue to whats going on with this? traction control is off, is there anything else i have to turn off before i actually do donuts? serious question guys.. kinda sucks when you cant do a donut to have some fun. lol
reason for this is the car was just bought recently for stupid cheap, and i have a ls1/t56 that i may drop in there or get a 2jz and turbo it.. we pretty much want a feel on how the car slides around by doing donuts to begin with. then pretty much go from there..

not that I have done this but in my 92 sc400 same issue, was told by a friend that the fuel pump being in the back of the car it has a hard time pulling fuel especially if you are going counterclockwise and your filter is dirty because it pushes the fuel harder away from the pump.

nope.. car doesnt run rough at all though.. does burnouts good.. no misfire, no check engine light, nothing..
has anyone else here tried doing donuts? im sure someone has.
clean your maf and check for the iacv. what youre doing during these donuts is stressing your motor out then abruptly letting off the gas so some sort of air/fuel compensation is needed from the ecu. maybe a dirty iacv would be the culprit
If you can't even diagnose an issue like this I doubt you'll be putting in a LS1.
It's not fuel related from g-force, we have baffles in the tank behind our rear seat.
If I had to make an educated guess, without seeing anything what-so-ever I would have to point my finger at a battery terminal coming loose or a connector making sporadic contact.
