Engine Emblem
the lexus logo and wording paint on the engine is chipping. How exactly do i remove it so it can be painted? is it any different then an emblem on the body?

While the engine is warm, take a piece of fishing line and try sliding it back and forth between the backside of the emblem and your engine cover. You should be able to remove it pretty simply this way. Take some bug and tar remover and clean up the left over adhesive. I'd check with Sewell for replacement emblems. They usually have small stuff like this in stock.

just paint it with plasti dip...then peel off any overspray.

the L is about 3/8 of an inch.
so the square plate which the emblems are on are is connected by adhesive and the emblems itself has little pegs?
I'll check if they have them on stock also. It would be easier to just use plastidip, but I like chrome finishing a bit better.
