The 97+ upgrade consists of the front bumper, grille, foglights, side skirts, lower door moldings, and the rear bumper with the extensions. That is basically the complete kit.
If you're looking to do just the front and the side skirts, you will need the front grille and lower door moldings. The fog lights are optional, but it looks weird with out them.
I just completed my '97+ conversion not too long ago...I went all out on the exterior, Front bumper,Grill,Foam absorber,Foglights (with HID's) Rear Bumper,Side skirts, door moldings,Tail lamps (No hyperblink or tail lamp failure warning on dash) and to top it off, Genuine JDM Toyota Soarer parts along side it.
Well I just hate the OEM pre 96 bumper looks gay and selling my wheels and using stock tt wheels and 79+ stuff. I don't want to stand out lol. Trying to keep the 5-0 off my back LULZ.
The damn fogs cost as much as the front bumper
I don't understand why they are so expensive. I'm seriously just going to modify the Intrepid lights. I created a WTB thread in the classifieds and someone is trying to sell me fogs for almost $300. Give me a break, that's as much as all of my utilities combined. I even think the normal $200 cost for 13 year old plastic fog lights is too much.
Either way, I think you're going in the right direction MKIVS374. The 97 is the most durable kit that can flex a bit.
