So I may do a 97 conversion for the sides and rear. Im 100 percent clear on the sides and door moldings.

My question is about the rear. I know the 97 model rear have different bumpers. The rear has a slight lip that curves outward. The pre 93 is rounded. Also there are extensions on the 97's for the rear.


My questions is about these extensions. I read on the forum after searching the forum and ebay that there are 92-96 rear bumper extension pieces. Are these the same as 97 +? Do they look the same and make the bumper look lower from the side? I would like to know so I can plan out what I need to buy. Also if these pre 97 extension arent what i think they are. Can 97 extension be put on a 93 bumper and give it the a good appearance on the side?

If you have pictures of these pre 97 rear bumper extension on a pre 97 bumper that would be great. Or if Im wrong a 97 extension on a 93 bumper.

Quit trying to rig it and buy a 97+ bumper and extensions. These are specific to their year make and only fit themselves.
