Default Electrical issues at full boost. :/

Lately i've been having electrical issues at full boost and its been real recent. nothing like this since i've owned the car.

So far here is whats happen in order when i hit full boost.
  • Headlights cut off and stay off till I flick them off and on
  • ABS light is on
  • Turn signals no longer work.

While in boost,
  • Dash works,
  • radio works
  • all other lights work
  • car runs fine

Recent changes to the car,
  • stock 350z wheels that ate a little into my harness
  • tire only ate through enough to show copper
  • wrapped each exposed wire in electrical tape
  • and tucked harness higher to where wheel can't get to it.
  • issues still continue after I did this
  • other than that no new changes to the car

Im sure its just blown fuses haven't checked or replaced them yet, but i'm sure just replacing the fuses won't fix the issues and probably a short somewhere. Just would like to know where to start.

update 1/7/12

Anyone know what gauge wires the wiring harness has in it?

Just checked the alternator its fine, the taillight fuse is fine, and I still don't know about abs

ISSUES FIXED
was alternator, replaced, no electrical issues now
abs issue was wires eaten through and touching intercooler piping on passenger side

When you hit boost, you go so fast electrons have to wait for you to let off the gas to reach their destination.

Sorry, not sure why boost would be causing your problems.

Did you soldee the wires or just taped them? If not, I would redo immediatelly and do it right. Then I would relocate them on the top. It will reach if you pull them throughand tight and reroute them in the engine bay. There is a great diy on here for that. GL

it never completely ate through a wire so i didnt have to solder two broken wires together.

Checking that wiring harness again might be a good idea. I had a lot of the same issues when my harness got chewed up. Even though some of the wires didn't get cut, I still had them all re-soldered just in case.
