Default wiring issue with car

ok so for you that have lowered cars with bigger rims, have prolly ran into this problem or have heard about this problem. the tire rubbing your wiring harness and shreds that harness, and you start to lose some electrical power like dome lights, headlights etc... so i re wire all of that and then i try to see if my headlights work, NOPE. re checked the wiring... everything was matched up. but when i go to start my car it doesnt start.... what could be the problem??? please help me with any info. thanks

yup does it crank? if so then check the fusebox in the engine bay and its a 30 amp fuse not the small ones but the box shaped ones. check that it couls be the problem because if some wires were exposed then it could have blown the fuse but ,ake sure you really watchout for that because the wires and box for your airbags is under there so u wanna make sure you dont mess up and blow your airbags

hmm if you checked all the fuses already and no start. maybe some of the wire is broken somewhere in that when the tire rubbed it maybe it pulled pretty hard and broke some wires somewhere in there. i dont have access to the diagram at this moment but maybe tommorrow i should be able to have it posted up here

If this is a known problem wouldn't you try to avoid it? ie don't put 19's or 20's on and slam the car?

Yea there is mostly a broken wire in there somewhere. or try to take a screwdriver and bypass the starter. if your car starts then you know its not a wiring problem. also check your igniter. and or coil pack. maybe something coulfd have shorted an ignition wire
